Our client required restoration and rewireing of a pair of Ezan Chandeliers with Slip Shades.
Our breif is to match the chandeliers as closely as possible, and recreate missing parts, such as the turned Mahogony column and also convert the French threads to accept new brass tubes and hooks for safe suspension. Sliding collars have also been made to hold the ceiling roses flush to the ceiling on the new rods.
Here are a few work in progress images prior to nickel plating, ebonising the wood, final assembly and rewire. Some of the lampholder brackets are missing and will be remade.
We also have a commission to make 6 matching wall lights in the same style for another 6 original shades, our client has since acquired.
We offer woodturning. metal polishing, metal finishing and repairs, as well as Silver Soldering serices.
